Blackpool Brass is a concert & contest band. We rehearse Tuesday & Friday nights from 8.00pm until 9.45pm at our bandroom in Bispham Conservative Club on Red Bank Road, Bispham. (map)

We are a friendly and social band and always welcome players, whether you're thinking of coming regularly or just want to come along for a blow. Our bandroom is now situated on the 1st floor of Bispham Conservative Club, having just moved there after 7 years at our previous address . The Con Club is our regular haunt for a drink after rehearsal and will also provide us with a great base for the bands regular social functions

The Accrington Pals is probably the best remembered of the battalions raised in
the early months of the First World War in response to Kitchener's call for a
volunteer army. Groups of friends from all walks of life in Accrington and its
neighbouring towns enlisted together to form a battalion with a distinctively
local identity.

The Anonymous Players, directed by Di Prutton and featuring Blackpool Brass will be performing the play commemorating the Pals at the Lowther Pavilion from 6th-9th August.

Come along and watch this fantastic show!
